I live overseas. What is the procedure for real estate investing in the US?

A.

You are certainly allowed to own land in the US as a foreign citizen. We work with many people in China and in the UK, people like yourself that are purchasing land in the US. The procedure is very similar to that of a US citizen. We will work with you to find the perfect real estate investment. You would then wire the funds to our title company who is also a real estate attorney here in Florida. Once received, we will express mail you the closing documents to sign and send back to us. When we receive them, the title to the property gets recorded with the County and the property is now yours.

What papers should I expect to receive after buying a plot of land?

You will receive a Title Insurance Policy & the Warranty Deed.
